The Protocol Gap: TSS Device Testing Beyond NJCAT, NJDEP & WADOE”

How do you know if a stormwater quality device is the right size? If you're working outside of a jurisdiction that requires NJCAT, NJDEP, or WADOE testing protocols, the honest answer is: it depends and that's a problem.

This lunch and learn takes a beginner-friendly look at the current state of stormwater TSS treatment device testing. Komline will cover what the major protocols actually test for, why hydraulic capacity alone doesn't tell the whole story, and how particle size assumptions can quietly lead to treatment systems that are too big, too small, or evaluated on criteria that don't match local conditions.

Komline will also walk through how these gaps create real-world headaches: inconsistent bid documents, contractor confusion, and field installations that don't perform as designed. Come ready to learn, ask questions, and leave with a better foundation for evaluating the devices you work with every day.
